Tuhaye Golf Retreat

6,210 sq ft custom build on the 7th fairway at Tuhaye. Metal roof, stone, and cedar cladding on a nearly one-acre site with direct views across the pond to the Uinta Mountains.

The Project

A home built around the view across the 7th fairway.

The lot sits at the cul-de-sac on Uinta Court — nearly every neighbor was already built out when we broke ground. The design had to hold its own in an established street of high-end homes while earning its sightlines across the pond and fairway. Metal roof panels, natural stone, and cedar cladding were chosen for durability and visual weight at that scale. At 6,210 sq ft, the floor plan runs five bedrooms, an office, and seven bathrooms across two levels, with an extra-deep three-car garage and a lower-level family room built for year-round use.

Build Highlights

Site-First Orientation

The home steps with the grade rather than fighting it. The lower level opens to the yard and the pond view; the upper level captures the full fairway and Uinta panorama. Every major room was positioned to earn its window.

Mountain-Grade Envelope

Standing-seam metal roof, thermally broken windows, and a high-performance air barrier built for the Kamas Valley's wind exposure and snow load. The cladding mix of stone and cedar was detailed to prevent moisture intrusion at every transition.

Architectural Coordination

Plans were drawn by Aaron Innoye of Innoye Design and came pre-approved by the Tuhaye Architectural Review Committee. We picked up from that approval and delivered without the back-and-forth that typically adds months to a gated community build.

The Community

Tuhaye and the Talisker Club.

Tuhaye is a gated community in the Kamas Valley — 15 minutes from Park City's Main Street and a short drive from Deer Valley. The Mark O'Meara-designed championship course runs through the property, and every lot has a direct relationship to the fairways, the ponds, or the open sagebrush hills. The Talisker Club membership covers the golf course, two outdoor pools, a full fitness center, spa, and a clubhouse with dining. For families spending real time here, it functions as a full resort — without leaving the property.
